Our children will be better than us CHORUS And as my days are waning You can hear me singing With my children’s voice And voices of their children too One by one we’re falling Sansara’s wheel is turning That’s what we’re going through Oh mama VERSE You can’t censor us We live in spite of all We’re reaching for the heavens Regardless of the fall This stage is vast But the sky is bigger You light the stars With your lighter’s flicker Thousands of me Before me and after Thousands of me In thousands of you We’re broken and shattered like a piece of glass But I don’t care.
