Liquidator 2: Welcome to Hell 🎧 OpenAL Soft HRTF 3D audio

USE HEADPHONES ONLY with any virtual surround like Windows Sonic turned off. Best HRTF effects at 4:25. This is Liquidator 2: Welcome to Hell with OpenAL Soft HRTF and EAX through the DSOAL wrapper. That's right: Liquidator 2, as in the sequel to the awful Russian Build engine game I recorded last Halloween. Turns out that video was actually foreshadowing, huh? Well, I guess this game is lousy enough for my usual April Fools' Day standards. The 3D positional audio in this game is not great at all, but at least there was some thought put into the EAX reverb. Strangely enough, I had to downgrade to the old True 3D Sound For Headphones v1.4 build on NexusMods in order to get this game working. Even then, it caused severe problems with hanging upon exiting the game, if it didn't crash at the menu screen already! I was very fortunate to grab this footage, so please do me a favor and watch more than the 8 seconds you subscribers usually watch my videos for. ----- HRTF grade: B Settings: Windows Control Panel: Stereo IRC_1037 HRTF tables placed in %APPDATA%/OpenAL/HRTF (in alsoft.ini located in %APPDATA%) channels=stereo frequency=48000 sources=512 stereo-mode=headphones cf_level=0 sample-type=float32 periods=3 period_size=1024 output-limiter=off default-hrtf=irc_1037_48000 hrtf=true resampler=cubic hrtf-mode=full hrtf-size=0 drivers="-dsound," Links: https://github.com/kcat/dsoal https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/65094 (Personalized HRTF tables in HARD_MODE_INSTALLATION.zip) Credits: https://steamdb.info/app/3302510/screenshots/ (Logo is copyrighted by Russian people.
