@rndmclub DJ DAN is a DJ, musician, and one of the key figures in the history of the Russian electronic music scene. His career began in the late 1980s and early 1990s, when he became a member of Malchishnik, one of the country's first and most influential hip-hop groups. In the mid-1990s, he founded Storm Crew together with DJ Groove, a collective that played an important role in the emergence of Russia's jungle scene. Their collaboration included club events and the radio show Shtorm on Station 106.8 FM, which helped introduce jungle to a wider Russian audience. Another significant chapter in his career was Barbitura, an electronic music project formed with Mutabor and Mikhail Voinov. Over the years, the group released six albums, exploring jungle, breakbeat, and other forms of electronic music. DJ DAN belongs to a generation of artists who did not simply witness the emergence of club culture in Russia but actively helped shape its development. detroit.moscow rndm.club
