Dutch windmills - pastel winter landscape

Winter is always very well depicted in pastels. The sky is slightly grey; the sun is dim. Trees, buildings are usually shrouded in a light haze. In this landscape, light white snow, thin ice are on the surface of the pond. And, beautiful windmills are a very characteristic feature of the landscape of the Netherlands.
