This 1973 classic follows Soviet spy Stierlitz deep inside Nazi Germany during the final days of WWII. In this intense moment, Müller delivers a haunting speech about the future of Nazi ideology, the next generation, and what comes after defeat. The way his face transforms from a friendly "grandpa" vibe to pure ice-cold menace is absolutely unforgettable! As an American watching this for the first time, I was blown away by the acting, the tension, and the deep psychological layers. What an iconic piece of Soviet cinema!
